About Ellen Magnarelli Terrien

Ellen is a dedicated community member and lifelong learner with a strong background in public service and education. A proud product of West Genesee High School, Class of 2002, her commitment to academic excellence continued through her college career. She earned a BA in Political Sciences from Le Moyne College in 2006, where she also studied Integral Honors. Her education continued at Georgetown University, where she earned an MA in Government in 2009. Most recently, she returned to her roots at Le Moyne College, receiving her MST in Teaching English as a New Language in 2023.

She is currently a teacher at East Syracuse Elementary School.

Ellen's deep roots in the community and her comprehensive background give her a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the Town of Onondaga. She is running to ensure our town government is accessible, accountable, and focused on the needs of its residents.
